Renovations are full of surprises. Some good. Some bad! Uncovering a beadboard ceiling is a big win! We’ll keep it.

This is the first line in the book “The Dictionary of Interior Design” by Martin Pegler. As a preservation advocate and someone who is a part of major historic renovations, this quote articulates my feelings so well. I fall in a gray area
